Plan your visit

Pre-booked tickets are not required but to guarantee entry, we encourage visitors to book a free ticket in advance to ensure you are able to visit the museum at your chosen time.

We no longer require groups to book a different ticket type, please use standard Visitor tickets below.

Visits to the museum are self-guided and take approximately 1 hour.

•  Please arrive on time with your e-ticket or paper ticket ready for scanning

•  Hand sanitizer dispensers are available throughout the space

•  Increased cleaning schedule focusing on high-frequency touch points, such as bathrooms, glass areas, lift buttons, bannisters, door handles, and touch screens

•  Download our brochure before you visit via the Bloomberg Connects app, available on Google Play or the App Store

•  If you or anyone in your party start to display any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from visiting and rebook your visit

Parking

We are in the congestion charge zone with limited car parking options. We encourage visitors to travel by public transport.

Disabled parking

City of London Corporation offers a map of designated disabled parking bays in the area.


Cycle parking

The City of London provides free bicycle stands in designated on-street sites throughout the City. Please do not leave a bicycle chained to railings or posts in an non-designated area as it may be removed.

Toilets and baby-changing facilities are available.

We are unable to permit suitcases, large rucksacks or bikes onsite.

There is limited buggy storage onsite.

There is no café or eating area onsite. We encourage you to explore the restaurants and cafés available next door in Bloomberg Arcade.

Flash photography and videoing is prohibited in the Temple.

A wide range of all-day dining options are available in Bloomberg Arcade, right next door to London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE. Watling Street, a former Roman Road now restored and pedestrianised, is home to several independent eateries. For a full list of eating choices, visit bloombergarcade.com.

The museum is committed to creating a welcoming environment for all, and therefore offers a range of services for visitors with disabilities:


General access

Step-free and wheelchair access to all floors of the museum building via lift.
All floors are suitable for wheelchairs to manoeuvre.
The accessible toilet is located on the ground floor and provides additional space and facilities for those needing them.
Assistance animals are welcome.
Seating is available throughout the space.

Please note: The temple viewing experience has low light levels and includes lighting effects, mist and sound.


Visual access

Accompanying brochure and additional texts are available in large print and Braille. An audio-described tour of the permanent collection is now available here or via Bloomberg Connects.

Digital guides with ‘Vision Accessibility’ settings.

We encourage visually impaired visitors to feel and explore our 3D models, and Museum Hosts are available to describe the objects and place them in context.


Hearing access

Printed transcripts are available to accompany the audio content of the museum.


Bloomberg Connects

Visitors can access a wide range of supporting digital content in various formats via our digital guide on the Bloomberg Connects app. The guide features audio, video, photography, and text including an audio-descriptive tour of the permanent collection and artist descriptions of the contemporary art installation.

The guide offers accessibility features, such as zoom and voiceover capabilities, compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Please ask Museum Hosts if you need any assistance accessing these.
